- "Attention" I hit the airport maybe 3 times a year, but the looks on people's faces as I wheel a case full of fake coke or cash through the terminal may be worth the $25 price tag. Props TSS.
- "Freddie Gibbs" Str8 Killa No Filla mixtape drops a week from today. Str8 Killa, the EP, drops August 3rd. Been a long time coming. Here's some Gibbs x Chuck Inglish x Bun B x Chip Tha Ripper to hold you over. Props Andrew.
- "Verizon" They're following AT&T's lead apparently, and dumping their unlimited data plan package. This is some bull, but it makes business sense. With the Droids and iPhones and Blackberrys of the world, people can use gigs of bandwidth for a megabytes price. Doesn't mean I can't complain, though.
This dude is my height. Props TBL.
- "Church" Interesting article on some Black religious leaders in California who've chosen not to support Proposition 19, which calls for the legalization and taxation of weed in the state. More than anyone, I would expect the Black church to recognize the primary role drug - specifically marijuana - possession charges play in institutionalizing Black and Brown men and women, destroying lives and communities in the process. Pretty tough to argue the "God's will is to have you serve 6 months in a federal prison with violent criminals for having an ounce of bud in your crib" angle. I'd have to start looking at new churches.
