The 2012 Northwestern Racist Olympics

Happy Monday everybody. It was a long weekend for the kid: the Kabana, Theta's 95th Charter Day (much love to DP for coming thru and checking on the chapter), and Greekscene prep.

The highlight of the weekend had to be the 2012 Northwestern Racist Olympics. Held on Saturday the 21st, dozens of future leaders descended on Foster Street for an afternoon of team competition and binge drinking.

This year's Games, the third annual, featured Teams Canada, Ireland, Bangladesh, Navajo Nation, Uganda, and South Africa. Canada and Ireland wore jerseys of famous countrymen. Naturally Bangladesh, despite being an overwhelmingly Muslim nation, sported bright red dots on their foreheads, Navajo Nation honored their ancestors with headdresses from Party City and the universal "Woo woo woo woo!" with hand cupped over mouth. Uganda signified with t-shirts of their beloved LRA chief Joseph Kony, while South Africa came with its standard apartheid uniform of white shirts and black pants - which, according to the team, reminds us all of natural law: "White on top, Black on bottom."
